Graham Edden and Pat Farrell Acquire Brewis Engineering

Brewis Engineering is pleased to announce that business partners Graham Edden and Pat Farrell have completed the acquisition of the company, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for one of the world’s most respected names in trenchless technology.

Founded by Rod Brewis in 1984, Brewis Engineering has spent the last 40 years building a global reputation for designing and manufacturing premium HDD and trenchless equipment. From the original Brewis Towing Head to world-renowned swivels and specialist tooling, the company has become a trusted supplier to contractors across Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and beyond.

Following the acquisition, Graham Edden has been appointed Managing Director, with Pat Farrell taking on the role of Commercial Director.

Together, they bring a combination of commercial leadership, engineering knowledge and industry experience, united by a shared ambition to build on the strong foundations established by Rod Brewis and the existing Brewis team.

“Our priority is simple,” said Graham Edden. “Brewis has earned an outstanding reputation over the last four decades, and we intend to build on that. We see significant opportunities for growth, particularly in North America, while continuing to invest in British manufacturing, engineering excellence and product innovation.”

Pat Farrell added: “Having spent my career in the trenchless industry, I know just how highly regarded the Brewis name is. We’re excited to work alongside such an experienced team and to continue delivering the quality, reliability and customer support that contractors around the world expect from Brewis Engineering.”

The business will continue operating from its manufacturing facility in Frome, Somerset, where its skilled workforce designs and manufactures equipment for the global trenchless market.

The acquisition also marks the retirement of founder Rod Brewis, his wife Sheila Brewis, who served as Company Secretary, and Commercial Director Paula Fitch. The new leadership team would like to thank them for their dedication and for creating a business with an enviable reputation throughout the industry.

Looking ahead, Brewis Engineering will focus on expanding its manufacturing capability, strengthening its distributor network, developing new products and supporting customers in existing and emerging markets around the world.

As the company enters its next chapter, its commitment remains unchanged: designing and manufacturing dependable equipment that keeps the world’s trenchless industry moving.
